GREAT AMERICAN INDIAN EXPOSITION - November is Native American month and Pow-Wow, an American Indian owned and operated company, sponsors an American Indian event for the entire family. The pow-wow is an opportunity for the public to interact with American Indian dancers, singers, drummers, artists and craftspersons. Also, this event is an attempt by Pow-Wow to educate the public about American Indians, past and present, through the arts. $10,000 will be offered in dance and drum prizes. Buffalo stew, Navajo Tacos and Indian Corn Soup are some of the foods that will be available. Turquoise jewelry will be abundant at the event as well as bead work, paintings and rugs.
